The set of maps illustrates the current status of an industrial area of Norbiton and the future developments planned for the area.

Overall, the area is going to be turned into a residential one with a school, shops, and other facilities added to the area.

The industrial area is located to the east of the town, being connected to it through a road running from east to west in the southern part. A river runs in the north which has farmland to its north side. There are eight factories located in the hub, mainly built by the road and the only roundabout so that the access is easier.

However, there are plans to convert the area into a residential one. All the factories are going to be removed, and housing will be built instead. The roads will be expanded, crossing the river to the new housing which will replace the current farmland that is going to be pushed eastwards. The southern road will also have a roundabout to control the flow of traffic to the area. Some shops are going to replace one of the factories located in the southwest while the factory at the end of the road in the far east will be demolished for building the school. There will also be a playground to the south of the river and a medical center on the opposite side. The residential area is going to fill the empty land between the city and the area as well by building a new road and housing are.
